WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We currently accept most major credit cards, cash, and e-transfer.

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

Many insurance providers have de listed from several Canadian Osteopathy associations, although we hold incredibly high standards with our practice and education. Aura Osteopathy does accept the following insurance providers:

If you have any questions about your insurance provider, please ask at your initial apmt.

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

You do not need a Doctors referral, However we may ask you to make an appointment with your Doctor before we start or continue treatment with you.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

Your first appointment will be a full body assessment. The frst portion will be to discus any concerns and questions you may have, your medical and health history, and what brought you in. From there we will run orthopedic exams to pinpoint where your pain may be originating from, and where it is radiating to. This gives us a good undrestanding of the treatment plan we need to follow in upcoming appointments.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT

Please wear comfortable clothing. I would recommend wearing what you would wear for a walk or to the gym.

WILL YOU CRACK ME?

Manual Osteopath Practitioners in Canada will not crack you. We use gentle hands on techniques to stretch you, recover range of motion, bring blood to a specific area to promote healing, reduce your pain and inflamation, etc.
